What's happening at RoG?

There is always something happening at River of Grace,

which means there is always a way to get involved!

  • adult bible study

Join us for a new Adult Education Series: Thriving Beyond Covid.  We will look at scripture and consider how we might grow through this time to, with God's help, become the best version of ourselves. Join us Sunday mornings beginning September 12 at 9:30 in Pastor Connie's office or Tuesday evenings beginning September 14 at 7:30 via Zoom.

  • River of Grace Kayak Day

Join us at Lake Pelham Marina on Saturday, September 25, from 10am to 2pm for a day on the water! Canoes, kayaks, paddleboards, and paddleboats are available for $5/hour. Bring a picnic or buy lunch, treats, and ice cream from the Ole Country Store. This is sure to be a great day of fellowship!

  • offertory stewards needed

We are in need of volunteers to help count the weekly offering. We need two people to count each Sunday and to input the data into the computer. Ideally, the more volunteers we have, the easier it will be to take turns. Anyone interested in sharing a small amount of their time to help, please see Brian Eddie or Gretchen.

  • Acolytes

Children grades 1 thru 5 are invited to be acolytes! As an acolyte, they will light and extinguish the candles for worship, as well as a few other items as our in-person service continues to evolve. Pastor Connie will teach and train them in all they need to know. Sign up for dates that work for your family. We ask that your child arrive by 10:20 to prepare to acolyte.

  • Ministry team Fair

Join us October 3 to explore new and exciting ways in which you can become involved and volunteer at River of Grace!

  • Trunk-or-treat

Trunk-or-Treat returns October 30, 5pm to 7pm! Join us for an evening of games, hay rides, candy, and more! Decorate the trunk of your car, put on your costume, and join us for a Spooktacular Good Time!

  • Sunday's Cool

Sunday's Cool resumes September 12! We are so excited for all the changes in our program. Register your child so they don't miss out on the the fun! Together, we will explore our faith through songs, Bible stories, games, and crafts. And this year, each child will be matched with a Four12 Youth to form Faith Buddies-a mentoring program between our children to help grow their relationships within the church and with God.

  • COnfrimation

If you have a middle or high school student who would like to join our Confirmation Class, please speak with Pastor Connie or Patty as soon as possible so we can order materials.

Confirmation Class will resume September 12 at 9:30am.
