There is always something happening at River of Grace,

which means there is always a way to get involved!

  • PAINT Night

    Support our Youth Group and create a fun Spring Gnome!


    Four12@TheRiver is hosting a Paint Night for all ages!

    Friday, April 24, at 7pm

    $35 per person, $25 for children under 12.


    Drinks, Snacks, and Painting! Register Here!


    All proceeds help send our youth to the 2027 ELCA Youth Gathering in Minneapolis, MN.

  • Sunday school

    All children pre-school thru 6th grade are welcome!


    We offer Pre-K thru 2nd Grade and 3rd Grade thru 6th Grade


    Plus Confirmation and Adult Bible Study


    When: We meet at 9:30am on Sundays


    Everyone is welcome to join!


    Remember there is no class on Youth Sundays - every 3rd Sunday of the month.


  • Women's fellowship group

    When: Monday, March 16

    Where: Brother's Encore 5135 Waterway Dr in the Lake Montclair Shopping Center


    We have a lot to celebrate this year!

  • bread & books book club

    When: Monday, March 23 at the 6:30pm

    Where: at Tony's Pizza, 13629 Dumfries Rd, Manassas, VA


    We're reading The Borrowed Life of Frederick Fife by Anna Johnston


    a life-affirming, warm, witty novel about community, forgiveness, and new beginnings.


    Everyone is invited to come and join us for dinner!

    Good Friday:  April 3

    Service at 7:00pm


    Easter Sunday: April 5

    Service at 10:30am


    Followed by a Potluck Brunch for everyone -- please bring a dish to share! -- and an Easter Egg Hunt for the kids!


    All services are in-person and also livestreamed on our Facebook River of Grace Lutheran Church Northern Virginia and YouTube pages.


  • vacation bible school

    We'd really like to offer our kids Vacation Bible School again here this summer, but to make VBS happen at River of Grace we need more volunteers!


    The dates we're looking at are the weeks of June 29 or July 13.


    We'll need to know how many volunteers we have in the next two weeks to know if we can even plan a VBS.


    If you can be part of the fun team that plans VBS please let Patty know as soon possible!

    • Our Little Free Pantry is stocked with canned and jarred goods, paper products, hygiene items, and more. If you have a need, stop by and help yourself. If you have items to share, add them to the pantry.
